At the start, Miki Kashtan says that economics is defined as the study of scarce resources. To break that script (as she is trying to do constantly) requires in some ways being willing to give up security, belonging, and acceptance (to some extent) in order to have freedom, authenticity, and expression. This is the patriarchal bind, she says. Patriarchy is all about scarcity, separation and powerlessness.
Lisa, thanks for feedback, much appreciated, often i feel as my thoughts have no value or are not understandable. Is like i'm always in my body pain and this bring me only in my mind labirinth. The link, looks interesting, and yes our economy is coming definitely from patriarchy, no doubt, looking forward to listening that podcast, wish you well and happy, have a great summer
Oh your thoughts have SO much value and are definitely understandable. I love the way you weave together your personal story and vulnerabilities with philosophical, poetic and global threads as well.
I read a post the other day that was something like: for those of us you write, as we create, we are created. For me, writing is necessary for my survival.
A book I read recently that maybe you'd enjoy - The Body is a Doorway by Sophie Strand. She writes about her painful journey of chronic illness and also about her relationship with nature. Being in and understanding nature helps her to endure her pain and see things in a new light.
Thanks Lisa.. I will definitely search for that book... I'm always question myself on how other people do to deal with chronic illness ♥️🙏
You've always been a great observer and wise, thank you for these words
Thought of you recently my dear friend, I always admire you for your life choices and strength. Take good care there.
I love reading your posts, Peter. Thank you for these reflections.
